The Ministry of labour and social policy won the first prize in the “Social Economy and Social Entrepreneurship” category of the annual contest of the Institute of Public Administration for best practice in the public administration. The prize was handed to deputy minister Sultanka Petrova who is in charge of social entrepreneurship. The contest aims to identify practices in the public administration that help to achieve higher quality of work.

The title of the awarded project is “Developing a new policy in Bulgaria – in social economy at the initiative of a unit in the administrative structure of MLSP in cooperation with stakeholders”. 

Social entrepreneurship provides the opportunity for dignified employment and social integration of persons in difficult situation on the labour market or unable to include in public life.
